Free Eye Screening Camp – Berthipora, ShopianToday, we conducted a Free Eye Screening Camp at Berthipora, Shopian, with the valuable cooperation and support of the Health Department, Shopian, Kashmir.During the camp, we provided OPD eye screening and consultations to local residents. Several patients were identified with cataracts and other eye conditions requiring advanced treatment and surgery.A list of patients requiring further treatment was prepared and submitted to the concerned Medical Department. The patients will subsequently be referred one by one for appropriate advanced treatment and, wherever required, cataract surgery, so that they can receive the care they need.We sincerely express our gratitude to the District Administration, Shopian; the concerned Medical Department, Shopian; the Kashmir Police, Shopian; and the Health Department, Kashmir, for their valuable cooperation and support in making this eye-screening camp successful.We are grateful to everyone who contributed to this initiative and helped us take accessible eye care closer to the community.Together, let us work towards a healthier and brighter future for all.

Livelihood and Inclusion Support for Persons with Disabilities in PulwamaAs part of its ongoing collaboration with CHINAR International, Humble Hope Foundation successfully implemented key livelihood and inclusion interventions for persons with disabilities in Pulwama.On 07 July 2026, Humble Hope Foundation identified eligible beneficiaries and facilitated the distribution of enterprise support to seven physically challenged youth, helping them strengthen their livelihoods, develop greater self-reliance, and move towards sustainable economic opportunities.The Foundation also identified and enrolled eligible physically challenged youth in a Tailoring Training Centre, providing them with opportunities to develop vocational skills and improve their prospects for future employment and income generation.Throughout the intervention, Humble Hope Foundation provided beneficiary identification, coordination, logistical support, and regular field monitoring to ensure the smooth and effective implementation of the programme.These initiatives reflect Humble Hope Foundation’s commitment to promoting inclusion, dignity, livelihood development, and empowerment of persons with disabilities through sustainable, community-based interventions.Humble Hope Foundation“Nurturing Hope, Empowering Futures”

Nasha Mukt Abhiyan Awareness Program Conducted at GHSS NewaHumble Hope Foundation, in collaboration with Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Newa, organized a Nasha Mukt Abhiyan Awareness Program to educate students about the harmful effects of drug addiction and the importance of maintaining a healthy, productive, and drug-free life.During the programme, Mr. Ashiq Hussain, Director, Humble Hope Foundation, delivered an informative and motivational address highlighting the impact of substance abuse on students, families, and society. He emphasized that drug addiction can adversely affect academic performance, physical and mental wellbeing, career aspirations, relationships, and overall life goals.Students were also sensitized about practical precautions and preventive measures to protect themselves from substance abuse. They were encouraged to focus on education, personal development, healthy habits, positive peer relationships, and constructive activities.Officials and faculty members of GHSS Newa also addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of staying away from drugs while promoting a safe, healthy, and drug-free environment for young people.The programme concluded with an interactive session in which students actively participated, shared their views, and reaffirmed their commitment to building a healthier and addiction-free future.Through such awareness initiatives, Humble Hope Foundation remains committed to empowering young people with knowledge, promoting healthy choices, and contributing towards a drug-free society.

10 Free Eye Medical Camps Organized Across District PulwamaHumble Hope Foundation successfully organized 10 Free Eye Medical Camps across District Pulwama, bringing essential eye-care services closer to communities and supporting people in accessing timely ophthalmic care.During these camps, qualified eye ophthalmologists screened 2,870 OPD patients and provided eye examinations, consultations, and necessary medical guidance. Free Eye Medical Camp Organized at Qasba Yar, PulwamaHumble Hope Foundation successfully organized a Free Eye Medical Camp at Qasba Yar, District Pulwama, Jammu & Kashmir, providing accessible eye care services to the local community.The camp received an overwhelming response, with 435 patients benefiting from free eye examinations, consultations, and basic eye-care guidance.Following the screening, 56 individuals were identified for different eye surgeries. The identified patients will receive their surgeries completely free of cost at Centre for Sight Eye Hospital, beginning the following week.Humble Hope Foundation sincerely appreciates the doctors, volunteers, supporters, and community members whose dedication and cooperation contributed to the success of this humanitarian initiative.
