Free Medical Camp & Surgical Screening Camp at Keegam, Shopian
Humble Hope Foundation, in collaboration with the Health Department Shopian and ASG Eye Hospital Srinagar, is organizing a Free Medical Camp and Surgical Screening Camp on Tuesday, 25 August 2026, at Government Higher Secondary School, Keegam Shopian. The camp aims to provide accessible eye-care services to people in the local community, particularly elderly citizens and individuals experiencing vision-related problems. During the camp, qualified eye-care professionals will conduct comprehensive eye examinations and screening to identify common eye conditions, including cataract and other vision-related problems. Patients found to require further treatment or cataract surgery will be appropriately identified, counselled, and guided for the next steps, with eligible patients supported towards surgical treatment through the available healthcare facilities and schemes. The initiative is part of Humble Hope Foundation’s commitment to taking essential healthcare services closer to communities and helping people, especially those who may face difficulty accessing specialized eye-care services. Residents of Keegam and surrounding areas are encouraged to participate in the camp and make use of this free screening opportunity. Participants are advised to bring a valid Ayushman Card, where required. Through this collaborative initiative, Humble Hope Foundation seeks to promote early detection, timely treatment, and better eye health, contributing towards the prevention of avoidable visual impairment and improving the quality of life of community members. Get screened, take care of your vision, and take a step towards a healthier and brighter tomorrow.
